Mail Art Call - Milagros (Miracles)
Deadline February 28th 2007

Milagros are traditional requests for and thanks for miracles in ones life.
This snail mail call is for postcard sized pieces celebrating or desiring
miracles.  3D and unusual ideas welcome,  but please no sexually explicit
materials.  In Mexico and Latin America small metal milagros are often
nailed to crosses and religious fixtures as expressions of joy and hope.
Our call is not necessarily religious and we encourage celebration of all
miracles.

Your mail call art will be:
1. Acknowledged via email if you include your email address
2. photographically posted individually on our blog at
moltengeckoglassworks.blogspot.com
3. combined with all other received mail art and integrated with a glass
sculptural piece as part of an interactive gallery installation on
Milagros.  Gallery visitors will be provided materials to create their own
work to be added to the overall piece in a miracle of exponentially
increasing size.
